Using the Skip Button

Sometimes you need to use your phone urgently. The skip button helps.

When Skip Appears

The skip button appears after a configurable delay (default: 3 seconds). This gives you time to think but doesn’t block you entirely.

How to Use

1. When a flashcard appears, wait for the skip button
2. Tap “Skip” to dismiss the card
3. Continue using your device

Configuring Skip Delay

1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
2. Find “Skip Button Delay”
3. Choose your preferred delay:
   • Instant (0 seconds)
   • Short (2 seconds)
   • Medium (5 seconds)
   • Long (10 seconds)
   • Disabled (no skip)

Tracking Skips

Skipped cards are tracked in your Statistics. Too many skips? Consider:

• Reducing the number of active decks
• Increasing skip delay
• Reviewing difficult cards

Emergency Skip

In an emergency, skipping is always available. Learning should help, not hinder your life.
